The Feed-In Tariff
The Government has announced that there will be two tariffs. The first is for the generation of eclectricity and is called the Feed In Tariff, which went live on the 1st April 2010. There will be a second tariff for heat generation, called the Renewable Heat Incentive. This will go live later in April 2011.
